2011 Fort Knox's Guardian series is built with a 1 3/4" reinforced fire door which means it includes 1/4" steel plate, 2 layers of 5/8" fireboard and 10 gauge steel reinforcing it all. The body is made up of a 10 gauge thick steel uni body construction. 20- 1 1/2" active locking bolts going around all four sides of the door.  These safes are built to last with excellent bolt work construction and finished work throughout the safe.  Each safe is customly built per order.  This one includes florescent lights and electronic lock. Beige interior with an half gun and half shelf setup holding up to 26 long guns. Guardian series include corner bolts and a patented 5 to 1 reduction rack & pinion multi-gear drive locking mechanism.  Opening this safe is like opening a vault door.  Black Cherry high gloss exterior finish.
